Desktop Support Technician

Manage the install, maintenance, and upgrade of pc hardware and software. Share your expertise in support of servers, networking, and phone equipment at the facility and support Level I- III service desk. Strong communication skills are required for working with end users onsite and remotely. This company is recognized as an industry leader in technology and manufacturing; our client began as a small manufacturer and is now well-known worldwide.

This position is on-site in Jonesboro, AR. You must be local.

What you will be doing

  • Provide support for office and manufacturing hardware.
  • Level 1 3 customer service support via phone or remote access.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware, printers, peripherals, and software.
  • Support servers, network, and phone equipment.

About you

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of previous experience.
  • Skilled at PC installation, upgrades, and repair.
  • Windows and Microsoft Office experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Understanding of server & networking technology.
  • Up to 25% travel.
  • Comfortable working in office and manufacturing environments.
