1st Shift Welder

Job Description

Get Hired! In this role, welders will fabricate parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies or complete units. As a welder, you lay out and fit together fabricated parts of metal or fiberglass molds according to blueprint and lay out specifications. This position also requires you to be outdoors and perform in a non-climate-controlled atmosphere. Pay will be determined based on experience.

Job Duties & Requirements

1 year of manufacturing experience.

3 years of welding experience is preferred. (2G, 3G, and 4G)

Perform oxyfuel welding.

Perform carbon arc welding.

Apply welds using FCAW & GMAW

Perform repairs, and routine maintenance to railcars.

Conduct one or two NDT tests.
